If I could spend time with a scientist from the past, it would be Dr. Tessy Thomas. She is called “ The Missile woman of India” and she is the first Indian women scientist to head a missile project. She has not only propelled India’s Missile technology forward but also shattered gender norms in STEM. Her ground breaking work has inspired many wonen like me to develop interest in science and defense. Her work and leadership highlight India’s commitment to empowering women .
